The average home price in the Rolland Moore Park area increased by $14,000 in August compared to July (which was at $305,459), with 5 homes selling at an average price of $319,000 (the highest average price out of the past 3 months). Currently, there are 12 homes on the market, 10 of which are under contract. Average days to go under contract was 10 days. The majority of homes went under contract in 3 days, however, with a few homes that were a little overpriced taking 3-4 weeks to go under contract.
Though August, as a whole, tends to slow down, this area remained pretty consistent with the activity we had the rest of the summer. It is a popular area and will continue to see demand. There just has not been a lot of supply, with only about 4-7 homes typically coming on the market each month to meet the demand in this area.
