    • February 2016 Market Update for The Creek

      We have already zoomed through 1 month in 2016.  The days are moving as quickly as the real estate market. Our market in The Creek never disappoints (if you are a seller).  Sellers continue to list their homes at the top of the market and are getting offers within days and closing for at least what they are asking.  This is how the market makes moves upward, a little at a time, but over a few months it adds up to a large gain.

      Here are the numbers from January.  Creekview had 3 homes sell.  2 with basements and 1 without.  Homes with basements averaged a sales price of $366,450.  Days on market average 2.5 and price per sq ft averaged $195.63
      Homes without basements averaged (based on 1 sale) a sales price of $328,900, price per sq ft was $170.68 and days on market was 21.
      Southcreek had 6 solds.  All 6 were townhomes.

    • January 2016 Market Update for The Creek

      Another year comes to an end.  Every year I find the time goes by faster than the last.  I do love end of year though because we get to see what has happened to our market  in our little neck of the woods over the past 12 months.  It’s a fun way to look at the big picture of what is happening in The Creek.  In 2014 there were 110 properties sold in The Creek. 80 in Southcreek and 30 in Creekview.  The average days on market was 12.  This year I will break it down in a little more detail.  Here’s the scoop:
