A mountain paradise like Allenspark is an anomaly in itself. In this day in age, when suburbia is the norm and our cultural pace is quickening by the minute, the width and breadth of Allenspark homes are a breath of fresh air.

This is truly one of America’s great small towns. And, although it feels like the Wild West, Allenspark is a very modern town. The Meadow Mountain Café is a popular diner and the best place in town to grab a plate of huevos rancheros. The Fawn Brook Inn offers great food an ambiance – the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. Neighbors may be spaced out, but residents can expect high speed internet access and modern amenities.

Besides being a gem of a small town, Allenspark is situated in the midst of one of America’s most beautiful landscapes. Home to some 415 square miles of raw nature, the Rocky Mountain National Park is brimming with hiking trails, wildlife, spectacular starscapes, and incredible natural beauty.

Allenspark’s own Longs Peak is the tallest local summit. It can be seen from just about anywhere in the park. Each summer, thousands of visitors arrive to attempt to scale the Keyhole Route. This passage is a challenge for even experienced climbers. It’s overflowing with steep cliffs, narrow ledges, and loose rock. If you’ve been training to scale sheer vertical rock faces, this might be the climb for you.
